Drop-Off & Pickup

Morning drop-off procedures

For the safety of all Palmer Lake students, we request that no cars enter the "bus only" area of the parking lot (directly in front of the building) at any time. 

Please do not drop your child off earlier than 8:30 a.m. When dropping off, pull your car up to the sidewalk by the fence. Have your child exit the car as soon as you pull up to the sidewalk. Please do not wait until you are at the front of the line, as this creates a traffic jam when buses arrive. 

If you are walking your student into the building at any time of the day, please park your car and walk with your child into the office. Do not park in the designated accessible parking spaces unless you have a permit to do so. 

Afternoon pickup procedures

If you are picking your child up at dismissal time (3:20 p.m.), please get in line with the other cars picking up. If you are picking your child up from school early, please do so before 3 p.m., as it can be difficult to reach classrooms during the last 15 minutes of the day.
